The production of spur gears, bevel gears as well as the production of
gear cutting machines were initiated.

OKAMOTO MACHINE TOOL WORKS,LTD. separated its gear production from their
business in order to found OKAMOTO GEAR CO.,LTD.,with the purpose of enhancing
their sales organization.

The machine tool manufacturing department was separated from OKAMOTO MACHINE
TOOL WORKS,LTD. so that they may found OKAMOTO MACHINERY Co.,Ltd., at Chojagahara,Onomichi
City.

OKAMOTO GEAR CO.,LTD., and OKAMOTO MACHINERY CO.,LTD., were united as OKAMOTO MACHINERY CO.,LTD..
The Head office was removed to 2050 Knami,Kanae-cho,Fukuyama City.
The capital was increased to Japanese Yen 167 millions. |
